Whenever I have nothing exciting to do, a 3x3 Rubik's cube always comes to my side to cure my boredom. I started to learn how to solve a Rubik's cube when I was about 8 years old. Listening to my classmates' advice and practicing different algorithms, I could solve it in under one minute when I was about 10.

After coming into the U.S., I have much more outside-school time to practice it. It gradually became my passion. After searching for hundreds of algorithms and practicing them countless times, my Rubik's cube skills continue to get better and better.

As of now, my single record is 6.81 seconds (see videos above).

I became a speedcuber in October 2018. I have participated in three Rubik's cube tournaments: New York City Fall 2018, China Championship 2019, Constitution State Winter 2020, all of which advanced to the second round. These tournaments were all held by the World Cube Association.

After attending three tournaments, my average record, which is 12.74 seconds, ranking is the top 6% worldwide.
